Sunshine Coast Regional Morning Report ( Tuesday 5:18 am) A run of small SSE swell on the cards this morning, with the usual south facing beaches attracting more of the swell. Surf conditions are not looking that great earlier on across the regions beaches exposed to the SE winds with wind affected waves on offer. Wave height is at the 1-2ft mark (knee to thigh high) with waist high sets as the tide moves in along those open beach stretches , with it being smaller everywhere else, particularly inside those southern corners. High Tide 8:34am
Rest of Day Outlook: Wave quality will be subject to SE winds strengthening up to 15 knots, shifting more from the ENE through the afternoon. Expect wind affected surf conditions all day with wave height peaking with the high tide and dropping in size through the afternoon as the tide recedes. Not many options other than if your are keen, grab a high volume board and hit the open beaches early on either side of the tides. The northern corners offering shelter from the NE winds in the afternoon. Low Tide 2:55pm
