Sunshine Coast Regional Morning Report (Monday 18th January 6:05am) A small combo mix of ESE swell producing small waves across the coasts regions beaches this early morning. Surf conditions are looking great across all locations subject to light west winds with wave height on the more exposed open beaches up into the waist high range on the sets. Low Tide was close to an hour ago at Maroochydore with the best time to hit the surf now as the incoming tide will bury the small waves on offer today. Best options are the northern beaches from Marcoola north to Sunshine and the beaches along the Kawana stretch. Consider a high volume board for some extra fun tackling the small surf today. Low Tide (Maroochydore) 5:05am @0.5m- High Tide 11:37am @1.7m
Rest Of The Day Outlook: Don't expect too much through the course of the day in regards to increasing wave height with the best of it being now until mid morning as the tide rolls back in. Surf conditions will be relatively fair for most of the day under light onshore ENE winds, wave height in the knee to waist high at the more exposed open becah locations, with it being smaller everywhere else. Low Tide (Maroochydore) 6:18pm @0.5m
