Northern NSW Regional Morning Report: 6.45am Tuesday, 1 December: A new round of south swell has kicked in, mostly wrapping in the chest to head-high range along the open beaches and grading smaller in the knee thigh-high range inside Byron. Light WSW winds are making for clean conditions and the tide is on it's way in to a 9.54am high, so probably best to get wet sooner rather than later.

Rest of Day Outlook: South swell is projected to peak this morning and then ease pretty quickly throughout the day. Winds will turn light onshore, initially from the SE before turning east to NE around 10-15 knots or more this arvo, so it's well worth making the most of what's on offer this morning. Low tide is at 4.18pm. Have a great day.
