SURF OUTLOOK

Easterly tradewind swell gradually drops off; initially still ranging from 2 to 4ft exposed open breaks under early light and variable SW to NW land-breezes. Well worth making the most of it before winds turn ENE at 5 to 15 knots and NE as the swell fades into the afternoon.

    Updated 10 Dec 2018 @ 6:18 AM (local)

Waves across the coast continues with the easterly swell direction getting into all locations of the coast. Easterly and northeast winds forecasted for today not the best winds though only 10-15 knots expected. Open beaches offering stacks of size though still quite lumpy with the straight onshore winds. Good rides on the coast headlands with the surfing reserve of Noosa offering some long rides and definitely the pick location with the crowd numbers being very high. Noosa’s west beach down between the rock walls has been the best for the some fun waves and less takers then the points. Enjoy
