Sunshine Coast Regional Dawn Patrol Report (Friday 26th February 5:41am) A smaller mix of ESE swell is on the cards this morning, with wave height along the open beaches around that waist to stomach range on the sets, with it being smaller in those southern corners. Surf conditons are looking reasonably good earlier on,under light west winds, with wave quality being mostly fair. The incoming 2 metre tide , with it's peak around 7:30am is burying most of the small waves on offer, with high volume boards being the best option along the more exposed open beaches. Definitely make the most of the morning surf on either sides of the tide, to have the best of it.
Rest of the day outlook: The morning surf conditions will be mostly fair under light variable winds, ahead of moderate onshore ENE winds developing through the day. No real change in wave height, with it being a little smaller around the low tide mark (Low Tide Maroochydore 1:56pm) Wave quality and surf conditions will be poor through the afternoon, subject to those onshore sea breezes, with wind affected surf on offer. Enjoy your day in the waves. Spinksy
