Sunshine Coast Regional Morning Report ( Monday 25th January 5:16am) It's looking reasonably good this morning with the primary ENE swell starting to fill in with average wave height along the exposed open beaches in the waist to head high range, being just a little smaller inside those southern corners and bays. Surf conditions are fair to good subject to location and exposure to the light SW winds currently in play. The downside is the incoming tide is starting to bury those outer sand banks, so expect fuller slower waves especially, even more so on the points with high tide at (6:03am Maroochydore). Best options early are the northern beaches, Maroochydore, Alex, Point Cartwright, The pocket at Kawana, Wurtulla south to Ann Street, and Kings Beach.
Rest of the Day Outlook: We should see a slow building trend in ENE tradewind swell throughout the day, with the morning surf conditions starting to deteriorate as the forecast Easterly winds start to kick in up to 15 knots. The open beaches will have the larger wind affected waves size, being more favourable on the points of Noosa, Alex and Point Cartwright. (Low Tide Maroochydore 12:29pm - High Tide 5:48pm)

Morning of the Earth Surfboards
For some the modern short board will never make sense. To me there are elements of the past that are still viable today, when blended with all we have learnt in the past.
