Short-Term Analysis (through Friday, 23 October)

Wave heights are set to drop back another notch or two by Wednesday morning, as residual SE swell combines with traces of tiny, longer range east swell at inconsistent knee to waist-high levels. Early SSW winds will open up fair conditions, before steadily deteriorating as they swing SE and then easterly up to 10-15 knots in the afternoon.

Tiny east and SSE swells culminate in marginal surfing prospects on Thursday and Friday: Trailing SE/ESE swell fades to tiny levels, with early light and variable winds favouring the most exposed beaches, deteriorating as the tend east to NE around 10 knots throughout the afternoon.

Long Term Analysis (Saturday 23 and beyond)
