  • Swell analysis

    The Rundown
Solid, clean surf abounds across the Southwest this week, with consecutive days of light easterly quarter breezes greeting a sustained run of powerful SW groundswell; mostly fluctuating between 3 and 8ft across exposed breaks over the course of the working week.

Tuesday marks the onset of a new, powerful pulse of SW groundswell; generated by a deep extratropical low that developed out across the south-central Indian Ocean late last week, before traversing eastward, towards Western Australia over the course of the weekend.
