It's been a great start to the Autumn season in the west with a couple of solid swells over the past week. Tuesday saw the best of it with a sharp rise in WSW swell through the morning. Wave heights jumped from a regulation 4-6ft at dawn to thumping 10-12ft+ by midday under offshore SE’ly wind conditions. Set waves got bigger and bigger as they arrived around every 10 mins. North Point was the spot in the Margs region while Injidup dished up a few keepers between the close-outs for the crew in the north.

The swell eased slightly by dawn on Wednesday but was still solid enough in the 8-10ft+ range. Conditions were mostly clean with moderate SE’ly winds. There were some solid waves surfed from Yallingup main down to Surfers Point. Supertubes and Northpoint were a couple of the other standout breaks through the morning.
