SurfAid International is seeking an Office/Website Administrator for their North Sydney office. This position will provide administrative and website development support to the COO, Development Manager and Schools Program Co-ordinator.

The mission of SurfAid International, a humanitarian aid organisation, is to improve the health of people living in isolated regions connected to us through surfing.

The Office/Web Administrator will be responsible for:

Schools Program:
  • The SurfAid International Schools Program, sponsored by Billabong, is a 5 year global education resource for students, teachers and parents. The aim of the program is to provide an exciting learning opportunity for students while encouraging the development of global citizenship, social responsibility and cultural awareness.
  • Assisting Schools Program Co-ordinator with management of website database and uploading content to Schools Program website.
  • Assisting Schools Program Co-ordinator with the coordination of annual prize distribution
  • Responding to general enquiries regarding the Schools Program

    Membership Program:
  • Working with the Development Manager to cultivate the Membership Program
  • Assisting the Development Manager with management of website database and uploading content to SurfAid International website

    Website Development:
  • Working with the Development Manager to develop the scope and function of the SurfAid International website
  • Working with the Schools Program Co-ordinator to develop the scope and function of the Schools Program website

    Office Administration:
  • Daily banking activities
  • Ordering of supplies
  • Shipping/Mailing/Printing
  • Daily correspondence with the general public via email/mail/phone

    The Successful Candidate:

    The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail orientated, motivated and posses effective communication skills. Website development experience, office administrative skills, knowledge of Microsoft applications and a willingness to work with a small dynamic team are essential.

    A tertiary qualification and demonstrated database management experience preferred.

    This position is full time at 40 hrs/week.
