Fantastic Noodles Mid North Coast Regional Junior Surfing Titles

Current NSW under 16, and teenage sensation, Matt Banting (Port Macquarie, NSW) will be on hand this weekend at the Fantastic Noodles Mid North Coast Regional Junior Surfing Titles to begin the defence of his state crown.
The best surfers on the mid north coast will gravitate towards Old Bar this weekend as the Fantastic Noodles Mid North Coast Regional Junior Surfing Titles gets set to explode.
With competitors ranging from the under 14's, in the junior competition, to the over 55's in the senior draw, the event will see the region’s full gamut of surfing talent on show.
Having been such a consistent, talent laden area, the mid north coast has produced some of Australia’s best professional and amateur exports, including three current state champions - Matt Banting (under 16), Wayne Hudson (over 28's) and Wayne Morrison (over 35's) - all of whom will be at Old Bar this weekend.
With the likes of current ASP World Tour competitors Mick Campbell (Port Macquarie, NSW) and Ben Dunn (Old Bar, NSW), with former Dream Tour surfer Darren O'Rafferty (Bonny Hills, NSW) all hailing from the area, this weekend could see the unearthing of another future star.
Competing at the Fantastic Noodles Mid North Coast Regional Junior Surfing Titles will be a bevy of local stars including the Raines sisters (Tuncurry, NSW), Emily Clapoudis (Port Macquarie, NSW), Jack Germain (Port Macquarie, NSW), Todd Bourke (Port Macquarie, NSW), Sam Schuman (Forster, NSW), Danny Schouten (Bonny Hills, NSW) and the Tyrrell brothers (Pacific Palms, NSW), all of whom are hungry to do well.
Having recently announced the support of junior surfing throughout the state and the nation, the Fantastic Noodles Junior Regional Titles covers ten events in South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania and Victoria, 14 regional junior surfing titles events in NSW, plus a South Australian Pro Junior event in July.
The Fantastic Noodles Mid North Coast Regional Junior Surfing Titles will be held at Old Bar from 28-29 March 2009.
