Jordi Watson (Currarong, NSW) will be bringing his excellent performances from the ISA World Junior Titles to Sussex Inlet this weekend for the Fantastic Noodles South Coast Regional Junior Surfing Titles.

The Fantastic Noodles South Coast Regional Junior Surfing Titles is set to rock Sussex Inlet this weekend as the region’s best look to blow-up.

Having seen South Coast products Dean Bowen (Gerroa, NSW) and Tyler Wright (formerly Culburra, NSW) claim ISA World Junior Titles in Ecuador earlier this month and Owen Wright (formerly Culburra, NSW) take down Kelly Slater, this weekend's event could see the unearthing of the region’s next surfing superstar.

Being such a consistent, talent laden area for a long period of time, the South Coast has produced some of Australia’s best junior and professional talents, but this weekend will see the next crop coming to the fore.

One such competitor will be Jordi Watson (Currarong, NSW) who is fresh from National duties in Ecuador as a member of Team Australia, who claimed their fourth straight team title at the famed ISA World Junior Titles.

Watson, at only 17 years of age, heralded his presence on the world stage with an awesome performance and will be looking at bringing this to Sussex Inlet.

After the second round, which saw postpone the event in hope of more suitable conditions after the completion of the under 14 boys, 16 and 18 girls divisions’, Watson will be on hand to to contest the third round of the Fantastic Noodles South Coast Regional Junior Surfing Titles.

After two rounds thus far, there have been two standouts.

Before the action was called off in Broulee, for round two, there were still titles decided with Kipp Caddy (under 14’s), Erin Dark (under 16’s) cementing their dominance; taking out their respective division’s with style.

For Dark (Gerringong, NSW) and Caddy (Ulladulla, NSW) it was back-to-back victories for the dynamic duo, who will both be looking for a hat-trick at Sussex Inlet this weekend.

Having recently announced the support of junior surfing throughout the state and the nation, the Fantastic Noodles Junior Regional Titles covers ten events in South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania and Victoria, 14 regional junior surfing titles events in NSW, plus a South Australian Pro Junior event in July.

The Fantastic Noodles South Coast Regional Junior Surfing Titles are proudly supported by Fantastic Noodles, Surfing South Coast and Surfing NSW.
