The 2015 Hudhuranfushi surf season really got started mid March when a co-operative tropical cyclone positioned itself directly to the south of us and sent up eight days of mid sized south swell. As that swell gradually faded it was backed up by a nice run of SE trade-wind swell that has kept Lohis a consistent 2-4ft for the last two weeks. Lohis really has been the place to be, with light winds and small but super fun waves everyday. Usually the Lohis boats are known for being out and about at the other waves in the area every day of the season, but with such fun sessions going down “out the front” the majority of our guests have decided to stay put and make the most of having such a consistent left on their door step.
